Between 1950 and 1955, Henri Langlois tried to produce, on behalf of the Cinémathèque française, several films devoted to great artists, with their cooperation, by entrusting them with virgin film stock. Wrote Langlois on the unfinished project, epic in scope: "We had the idea of asking poets, painters, scholars, writers and even repressed filmmakers [...] to make films in 16mm, with the means at hand, without taking into account any commercial concern or censorship." What precious little came of the project was eight minutes of film from Matisse and twenty-some from Marc Chagall, released at a later date.

A journalist Lorena and her friend photographer Raul decide to try to take an interview from influential politician Hermenegildo Parra. After several unsuccessful attempts they decide to break into his house and make some photos there but when they enter his cabinet they see him stabbed with the knife. The next day the newspaper announces his death and start to celebrate a big amount of sold copies but during the fiesta a phone calls and it was Mr.Parra "alive and kicking". After this scandal Lorena becomes pursued by some mysterious killers who want to take the negatives from her at any price. The solution of this mystery is very unexpected...

He invites Louis for taking some pictures, gives the artistic name of Dorian to him as a homage to "Dorian Gray" and a framed picture of him. Louis wishes to have the same fate of Dorian Gray, and from this moment on, he becomes very successful in the career of model. As years go by, he notes that only his picture ages, and he has the same face of years ago.
