Look forward to a fantastic show, where this year's hosts, Carsten Bang and Jesper Juhl, together with a string of the country's comedians, will mark 25 years with a historic anniversary show on December 27 at Musikhuset Aarhus, December 29 at Royal Arena, and January 8, 2018, at The Comedy Store in London. For the fifth year in a row, the proceeds will go to Save the Children and the organization's humanitarian work for refugee children. It's Frank Hvam, as himself - a composite comedian, combining the lavkomiske with the gifted - an unpredictable mix of genitals and policy, seasoned with a highly developed sense of their own idiocy. "It's not because I like to provoke, but I am convinced that in the end it probably is very healthy to say things out loud. I get it every to trap better. " A classic stand-up show about what we all think, but few of us want to say out loud.
Den Ægte Vare: Live i Cirkusbygningen

In the spring of 2002, six of Denmark's best stand-up comedians joined forces under the name Den Ægte Vare. The goal was to show the audience six different styles in the original form of stand-up - completely stripped of “borrowed” jokes and clap-friendly song numbers. Through 24 shows, Varen delivered the goods in sold-out theaters across the country. The tour ended with 3 nights in the circus building, and this recording is the first of these shows.

The show is about finding yourself by looking inside yourself. More specifically, it is about recognizing that you are a bad feminist and finding peace with that. About not letting your opinions be dictated by others and about how some people cannot claim ownership of a word or a definition. It is about there being room to be bad at something and that it is perfectly okay. In the spring of 2017, you can experience Zulu Comedy Galla Talent Award winner Ane Høgsberg in her debut one-woman show for the first time. She will be accompanied by a surprise warm-up act, which (without giving too much away) proves that the stand-up industry is not made up of white, oppressive men, but is actually full of supportive and good colleagues who can recognize talent when they see it and are always willing to back it up and, well, well, warm up for one of the new stars in the Danish stand-up firmament.

Tal for dig selv (Speak for Yourself) is Anders Matthesen's third one-man show. The show is divided into two sets. In the first set, Det gode sæt (The Good Set), Anders Matthesen addresses all topics from a positive outlook on life, while in the second set, Det onde sæt (The Bad Set), he takes a negative attitude.

The latest stand-up from Denmark's biggest comedian. "Anden paa coke?" toured the country in 2006 and was seen live by over 100,000 people. Anden takes the stand-up comedy genre to a level never before seen in Denmark. There are backdrops, there is scenography, there is multimedia, but at its core, it is still just stand-up comedy at its very best!

The show “War, terror and other funny things” by comedian Omar Marzouk played to full houses in Denmark in the spring of 2005 and more than 15,000 people saw the 90-minute show, which was immortalized on DVD in Det Ny Teater. It's controversial and hilarious, and there are plenty of extras. Since then, Omar has performed to packed houses at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world's biggest comedy festival. The show was received with enthusiasm by both the audience and critics from several British newspapers. This fall, Omar performed three shows at the legendary London Soho Theater and has a major feature in Time Out, the biggest guide to London's entertainment scene. Omar's satirical take on war and terror is also being heard in the US. Both News Week and the Los Angeles Times interview Omar in connection with his show.

Christian Fuhlendorff - My First One Man Show

This is my first DVD. It's a recording of my show from 2008 at Comedy Zoo in Copenhagen. The show is called “My first one man show”, which I think is an original title, and it's even factually correct. It could also have been called “My second one man show”, which would probably be a more original title, but still factually incorrect. I've chosen to write some of the synopsis myself in order to limit the number of adjectives and sales phrases, like the ones right after this text, because all I really want to say is: Hope you like the show and enjoy...
